More details to this question:
I am in a Divorce trial Plaintiff was just Direct by her attorney.. I am about to cross exam! Now when I am done can I ask Direct questions of the Plaintiff? or am I done after cross? Also My exhibit book is to be used for cross correct? Or can I use it for Direct questions?
Some judges have different ways of doing this, so you should talk to an attorney who has had a trial or evidentiary hearing before your judge. Generally, each witness is called only once and allowed only a direct examination, cross examination, and then redirect examination.
