Divorce

More details to this question:
Hi, I've been married for almost 3 decades to my husband (retired military) and finally decide to let go of him. We have 3 children, all grown up and on their own so its between me and him. I've been thru a lot, and notional and medical pain, related for his adulterous act and money spent on his toys (guns, motorcycles, drinking and smoking). H is a good husband but just can't see my life with him on this kind of lifestyle. I gave him many chances, giving him freedom to whatever hobbies h had but he's taking me for granted. It's better to break up whil I still have than building up resentments and die in a heart attack. I survive brain and ovarian tumors and being diabetic my doctors advice to stay away from stress. I've been in depression pills since 2003, causes of his adultery while we're still in military. I forgive him, feeling it's my fault too of working long hours. Then it happens again, a friend of our daughter and again I forgive him thinking it's a mistake. Thanks!

Dear Anonymous: In Florida the only grounds you need to get a divorce is that the marriage is "irretrievably broken."  Sounds like you meet that criteria. So you can proceed with a divorce. Good luck to you.   Cindy S.
