Divorce decree

More details to this question:
I was awarded half of my ex husband's company retirement, when he decides to draw it out. The divorce was in 1999, he is now 66 and I am now 67 and he still has not taken his retirement money, but I need the income now. Is there anything I can do?

Your divorce decree would neeed to be reviewed. Typically, those funds are divided at the time of the divorce if the spouse is vested in the retirement account. Railroad and military retirement have certain special rules regarding division. You need an attorney to review the situation.
