More details to this question:
I have a court order to see y son every summer.last year his mother did not let me see my son, this entire year she has not let me speak with him and i have lost all contact with him.the problem i am facing is that i live in pennsylvania and they live in tennessee. i was told i need to file a petition to the court but that i need to travel to tennessee to do so.Is this true?what options do i have? I cant just drop everything to travel back and forth to tennessee, i have a job and priorities. I am so frustrated as to what i should do???
Probably not. Call the custody office at your son's home county courthouse. They should have options available for filing from out-of-state, including telephone testimony.
