My oldest son moved out his mothers house at 17 and has moved in with his 20 year old girlfriend and her mother. He turns 18 in September. He currently has quit school and has now a full time job working construction from7am to 5:30pm everyday. I have tried to contact the mother by calling and even going by her house. No one contacts me back. There is a "For Sale" sign in the yard. I have contacted relatives of my ex-wife as well and she still won't call back when they give her the messages. Am I still having to pay child support on him since he has recently made all these changes and not living with his legal guardian?

BUT you should file a motion to modify custody and support based on a material change in circumstances. I would ask for custody of the son and cite his moving out as proof that mom cant handle him. I would also perhaps ask the court to allow you to place his support funds into an escrow account (since he's not living with mom anymore) for his education. Lastly, as an alternative to getting domiciliary custody, ask for Shared custody which should reduce the payment significantly.
