More details to this question:
Motion filed in Nov, 2006 the older of two children came to live with Dad, Mom didn't want to pay child support (income 6 figures), Dad ($22,000 yr), agreement made she would not have to pay, and Dad would hereinafter no longer be obligate for child support for the younger child. 2010 younger child wanted to live with Dad, custody was change and Dad wanted $100.00/mo child support. 2012 Child wanted to go back to Mom, now Mom trying for $585 mo child support. Help.
Motions themselves are not the thing you have to worry about. It's the court Order that you have to follow. It sounds to me like Mother has filed a motion for child support. Depending on the circumstances there could be a hearing on child support or it could be done through DSS. Once a court order is entered for the new amount of child support then dad would be obligated to pay that amount.
