Do we need a lawyer?

More details to this question:
My husband and I want an uncontested divorce and have already gone through whats mine and whats his. We have no children and no assets together besides our home which he has agreed to let me keep since all the funds to purchase and furnish the home came from my end.

You can, but be very careful to follow your county's directions on filing a pro se divorce (you wouldn't want remarry and find out your first marriage wasn't dissolved!). If you feel you are in over your heads, you can always hire a lawyer to help you both through the procedure.
