She is in a relationship with another guy and I am in a relationship with another female, I feel she may just trying to hope I'm her baby father. I understand if a court orders a dna I have to obey that order. After we broke up, a few months later she became pregnant, I found out thru a mutual friend she was pregnant. She didn't even tell me first, and once I found out I assumed it was some else becase she never told me it was my child.. a few weeks after that she reached out to me thru txt and let me knw she was pregnant. First she said it was mine, then a couple of days later she said it wasn't mine, and 2 -3 weeks after that she said it was mine again. Now the baby is born and I just received a letter from AGO letting me knw I have an account setup, I haven't had a dna test done or a court summons. Also wondering if an affidavit from mutual friend would help my case and not even waste courts time on dna. . Bcuz i would says it 2% chance it's mine, together 9 months-no pregan
It sounds like they may have gotten a default judgment against you. That judgment may say that you're the father. You should act quickly to see if you can get DNA testing done to find out if you're the father. Your friend's affidavit won't be enough. You need scientific proof of paternity. If you don't act soon, it could be too late, so either talk to an attorney, legal aid, or go to this site to get the process started as soon as possible: www.texaslawhelp.org.
