Does child support end after adoption?

More details to this question:
I signed papers for my biological son to be adopted a year ago and I am still paying child support. I have no arrears. I live in PA but he lives in NC. How do I find out if the adoption process went through and if so why I'm still paying support?

IF the adoption went through, you may have to go to the Family Division and file the papers to terminate the Order. If you do not, the order may keep running.
