I meant to say I got a copy of affidavit of service my dad was served. I need to know are the divorces papers expire or no because I have not paid $125 fee.

I still cannot understand your question totally, but an action can be dismissed by a failure to serve the summons and therefore its expiring, or can be dismissed for no progress by the Court. Without reviewing the file it is impossible, on the facts you provided, to give you detailed advice. The file in the courthouse would have to be reviewed. Read over carefully whatever documents you have in front of you, you may find that your answer is on them.
