My wife and I entered a stay of proceedings for our divorce to try and reconcile and it is not going to happen. I will be requesting she have the stay lifted and wondered if the time for the divorce to be final would reset and I have to wait another 90 days or is it final as soon as the stay is lifted? I reside in Indiana.
This question does not make any sense in terms of Indiana law. To cut through all that, if you want to finalize the divorce, you can ask the judge to set it for final hearing at any time. You should go ahead and do it, not wait for her or ask that she do it. The judge's response will tell you what you need to know in terms of when this will happen.
