QUESTION

Emergency custody name changes length of order

Asked on Jan 17th, 2018 on Child Custody - Oklahoma
More details to this question:
Issue: Father that never had established temp custody or had a part in my daughter's life until she was 5 1/2. She is now just 8. He obtained emergency full custody based on the judge believing a witness that was an ex neighbor I no longer let my daughter play with her son. She testified without proof , charges nothing, that I exposed myself to him and several other allegations untrue. The judge granted it and now the step mom is taking her to therapy without me or the dad providing therapists with info on my past which she doesn't know. And now they are wanting to change her name assuming they have full custody and telling her to ask me. As well as the order when issued was based on belief of a witness that provided no proof. And I've never harmed my child.

Sounds like a complex case where they are taking advantage of your situation. Did you appeal the order? Were you working with the attorney? I would need to review the current court order to see how I can get you your kids back. Please email me the court orders if you have at smaattorney@gmail.com also feel free to call me when you have time to discuss the case in details. Contested and complex cases like yours will take a lot of time and become financial burdensome unless you qualify to get a free lawyer from court and they are usually not that good. Anyway we have affordable payment plans if you need. Call me to discuss more in our free consultation.
