More details to this question:
Hello, I got divorced about 9 years ago, there was a court order obviously ordering child support. We both agreed that he would pay me directly, and has been doing so since by personal check. He under paid child support March -June, paid full in July, and is now refusing to pay in August. Do i have to get attorneys involved to enforce this since he wasn't paying through the system?

Thank you for your question. In order to enforce a child support award, you would have to take him to court to get an order enforcing it. While you are not required to hire an attorney to make an application through the Courts, it is generally a better course to have representation to ensure that you are pursing all of your rights in the correct manner as required by the law and Court Rules, and to help you map out the right strategy to get you to your goals.
