Asked on Dec 30th, 2014 on Child Support - California
More details to this question:
1. I'm currently paying child support for a child that isn't biologically mine 2. Me and my estranged wife were married during the time the baby was conceived by another man 3. I fall under the legal father law in California which I understand. However, she knows the real father's location which is in LA yet I still got stuck with this support.

I am assuming you are divorced and at the time of the divorce you were unaware that the child was not yours and that the child support order was initiated at this time? It seems that you should be able to file a Request for Order and request a DNA sample to determine fatherhood. There are a lot of variables here, so it would be best to consult with an experienced lawyer so this is done correctly.
