QUESTION

ex husband has truck

Asked on Jan 09th, 2015 on Divorce - Nevada
More details to this question:
I submitted divorce papers a month ago and ex husband and i agreed i would pay off the truck and he keeps the truck. Then judge asked for additional questions on our assets so then I had to ammend and re-file and I put in the ammend that ex husband keeps truck but no information stating I will pay for it till it's paid off. At this time I can't afford to pay the truck anymore and I believe the truck will be repossessed. My ex husband has no license but is driving my truck and I still have truck in my name and truck insurance. If truck gets repossossed can I be in trouble with the courts since it was stated he can have the truck? I live in Reno, NV and this is a community property. Initially I only agreed to my ex husband's terms since he stated he wanted my retirement or spousal support. We have only been married less than 4 years. Can he ask for spousal support? I'm so confused and worried

You have too many pieces to this to deal with competently in an e-mail.  You really need a half hour to sit down with a family law specialist and go through those issues one at a time.  Hiring private counsel would be easiest, but if you cannot afford to do so, contact Washoe Legal Services and inquire about seminars, ask-a-lawyer programs, pro bono or reduced fee panel services, or some other means of getting some professional analysis of your rights and obligations.  In the meantime, the property division, spousal support, and other pages of our firm website may give you valuable background information.
