Hi, I am in China right now due to my husband’s expatriate job with my two kids. We are thinking either separating or divorcing. According to his work plan, he will be here at least one more year. He is a US citizen, born in China. I am Japanese, a greecard holder. We got married in the US. We have residency in Michigan. I was wondering if we could do all the divorce procedures online. Since you are currently living overseas, commencing the divorce and continuing it online should not be too difficult. Many courts are still allowing parties to appear via Zoom. I would be happy to discuss your situation with you at your convenience.
