My spouse and I got in a fight. I was arrested and put in jail for 2 days then released on a $10,000, 10% which was a $1000. I have court in the beginning of next month and was wanting to know what is going to happen. 1st offense. We both had visual marks. I had a bloody lip and she had marks on her neck. Police took pictures me both and I was sent to jail while she did not. She wanting to testify for me saying it was her fault (which it was). What is going to happen?

Please contact an experienced criminal defense attorney as soon as possible. This is a serious matter. The prosecutor may still wish to go forward even though your spouse does not wish to proceed. Please also check your conditions of bond to see if you are allowed to have any contact with her.   This is not the type of situation in which you should represent your self.   This posting is for informational purposes only and should not be considered legal advice nor the establishment of an attorney-client relationship.
