More details to this question:
My sister is 18 years old and she has adhd bipolar and odd. She is not on medicine and like to run the street al ot. She has no income besides welfare and a high school drop out . If she was to have my nephew alone to care for he would be in damage and not care for well. She looks at her child as a toy to display. She really not ready to be a mom.
You have no custody rights in adult family court. One option would be to get your sister to sign over temporary custody, agreeably, until she grows up. The other option is, if you feel the child is in danger, call CYF. They will take custody and then you can present yourself as a potential temporary care taker and they can get the judge to place the child with you. CYF would then file a dependency petition on the mom which would force her to get her act together in 12 months or have the baby placed with you, if you qualify, or with a foster family.
