QUESTION

How can I find my children

Asked on Feb 20th, 2016 on Child Custody - Wisconsin
More details to this question:
My ex-husband and I have joint legal custody of our three children in the State of WI. He recently moved with my children and changed his telephone number without notifying me or the court. I can not find my children to pick them up for scheduled visitation ( I have them on weekends during the school year and during the week in summer and some holiday). I am aware that my divorce papers state Statute 948.31 3a in which it says it is a class E felony to conceal a minor child from the other parent. What can I do to find my children? He is also currently on probation.

if your ex husband has concealed the children from you, you should immediately contact local law enforcement to have them contact your ex to return the children to you. You are correct, that arguably it is  felony violation under 948.31 stats.
