How can I find the divorce record?

If you can't find a record of a divorce anywhere what can be done then to prove you were divorced?

If it's your divorce, go back to the jurisdiction in which you were divorced. If it's someone else, you'll need to do a full background search.

Go to the Court of the County in which you were divorced and it will have a record. You can then obtain a certified copy.
