More details to this question:
The girl is 14 years old. She was raped repeatedly by her brother until she told her parents about it. Her parents blamed her for messing up the family. Her mother and sister verbally abuse her and hit her almost every day. Is there any way I can help?

You can assist this young lady by notifying Child Protective Services. Too many cases are not reported because people do not want to get involved, and the abuse continues. Hopefully CPS in your area actually does something to help minors who are stuck in abusive homes. Perhaps you could volunteer to be a foster parent as well. Ask CPS what can be done.

Call CPS and get them involved immediately. If you are old enough and have the wherewithal, you may also seek to be her guardian.

Yes. Any suspected abuse of a minor should be reported to DCFS's Abuse Hotline (800-25-ABUSE). DCFS will do an immediate investigation in the abuse allegations and will determine whether the state should take protective actions. All calls to the hotline are kept confidential. Do not delay if you truly believe the minor is a victim of abuse.
