My boyfriend is in prison and wants a divorce he was married 90 days or less. He doesn't know where the other person is, and asked if I could help him with this.

He has to have wife personally served or get court's approval to serve her by publication. Look up the rules. However, he has time on his hands and probably access to a computer or a library with law books so he can look up the rules. You should not be cleaning up his mistakes without him doing most of the work.

Easy question first: you are not a lawyer, you may not help your boyfriend get a divorce. He will need the help of an attorney to prosecute a divorce with a missing spouse whether in or out of prison.

Check the county clerk marriage records from the county where he got married & then you will have the information you need.
