i am the sole provider in my home for the past 2 years since my wife was laid off and lost unemployment benefits. i can not afford to live somewhere else and still pay the mortgage. i have no family or friends to stay with in the area. how can i stay in the house with the children. we have 3 sons, 20, 16, and 12. we haven't filed for divorce yet, but it is fast approaching. she has tried to get me to leave before but i wouldn't. i don't want to have to choose between paying the mortgage and bills for the house and struggling to survive on my own when she has family in the area that she could stay with until she finds employment.
