We have my boyfriends daughter, living with us. She has been with us since October. There is no custody agreement, but the mom is still receiving food stamps. How can we protect ourselves when the state comes after him for child support of a child we are already supporting?

Your boyfriend should file a custody action and make his custody of the child official.
