I want to stop my child support. Is there a way to legally do this?

When your child turns 21 you file a petition to have it stopped.

It's best to find a lawyer to advise and represent you. That said, you need to file a motion with the court that entered the order for child support. You will need a very good reason, and you should be ready to offer evidence in support of the facts you want the court to consider.

You have to file a motion to modify or terminate child support and assert in your motion sufficient legal grounds to do so.
