How do I file for legitimization in Georgia and does a 50/50 split nullify child support?

More details to this question:
Me and the mother were never together and she waited 2 1/2 years to tell me that he existed. I don't want to pay child support but I want joint custody and a 50/50 split if possible.

To legitimate your child, you must petition the Superior Court. There are some free services that can help, but I suggest hiring a lawyer. 50/50 split of custody does not necessarily nullify child support.
