QUESTION

How do I get unsupervised visitation?

Asked on Oct 21st, 2014 on Child Custody - New York
More details to this question:
I would like to know how to get unsupervised visits. I have a clutter problem, and my home has been deemed unfit fit for my little six year old. Her mom has full custody and I am having trouble dealing with her. Right now I have supervised visits with my sister, but I would like to get unsupervised visits, we have been to court and the judge did not allow me to get unsupervised visits and I don't know why. I can't take my child out to events, when I have to always return to my sister's house for her mom to pick her up.

If the court has already denied you unsupervised visits previously, you need to speak with an attorney about what type of evidence you need to present tone successful this time. It can vary in every case.
