QUESTION

How do I go about emancipating myself?

Asked on Oct 06th, 2016 on Family Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I am 19 years old, already graduated from high school. I haven't lived my parents for about six months and I am now starting my application process ( I'm taking a gap year). Schools require me to be emancipated to be able to apply as independent. I have no idea where I go about this situation, I have no contact with my parents.
