How do I go about taking my ex to court from another state?

She is in another state. As far as I know, for the last 4 years, I’ve been emailing my ex-wife trying to see my son. She blocked me from all contact. I have e-mails stating she will not let me see him and other things regarding to her being spiteful. I’ve miss out on things I will never get back like first steps, first word and the worst part is he wouldn't notice me if I stood in front of him.

More information is needed to determine where jurisdiction is for you to file for visitation/custody. Talk to a lawyer or go to the Family Division of the county in which you live and ask if you can file there.
