I suffered a stroke and have not been able to recover. I am on disability and only receive a little over $800 a month. They are removing over $400 a month for one child support. Even though my ex said she did not want the child support. I want to modify my support.

Then you need to petition for a reduction because of your disability. If California Child Support Services is collecting from you now, then you contact them. They will direct you on how to reduce the amount.
