How is supervised visitation handled over long distance?

my husband is the sole managing conservator of his 2 kids with his ex. she only receives one hour a month supervised visitation. the visitation is supervised by either me or my husband, we currently live in texas and are planning to move out of state. how are supervised visitation schedules usually worked out over long distances. we r not willing to give on the unsupervised part. its been this way for the past 3 yrs and was not for any given amount of time. please advise. there is no geographical restriction on my husband either
