How long does a person have to pay child support in the state of Louisiana?

I am in the process of purchasing a home in Virginia. I am using my child support as income. On the divorce degree, it does not state how long my child support will be for; it only states for the minor children. My child is still in school and will not graduate at age 18, his birthday falls late.
