How long does a uncontested divorce take?

I am wondering how long a typical uncontested divorce take because according to my ex-wife it has been filed since May 2011 but there have been a couple of issues with the paper work. Last I heard the papers were resubmitted in August 2014 and I was served. Now why have I not seen anything when I e-track it in the NY court website and have not heard any anything. All I see is the past paper that were disposed back in March of 2014. I also want to know if I am giving to much for child support. I want this to be fixed already because she is living with her boyfriend (reason for divorce) and every time she needs money she tries to negotiate time with my children. I want to know if I will need to consult and pay for services for this to be done correctly and faster since i am tired of waiting for 3+ years.
