I'm doing my own divorce in Texas and want to add retroactive support into the decree. It's a default divorce as he hasn't answered.

Did you ask for retroactive support in the divorce petition? If not, a Judge might not be willing to grant retroactive support. If money is at stake, you may want to contact a lawyer.
