How to fight a temporary child custody case

More details to this question:
My parents filed for custody of my children. I was never served court documents or notified of a court date (which, obviously i missed). My parents were awarded temporary. I need to know what I have to do/file to get my children back ASAP.

Your parents may have filed an emergency order (ex parte) with the court. You should go to the court and find out what was filed (ask the clerk). Make copies of the paperwork and make sure you know when the next hearing is. You will probably need to respond to whatever was filed and, if possible, have an attorney represent you at the hearing.
