More details to this question:
I been separated from my husband since Fab 2014 and no legal active was taken from both of us. recently he filed for divorce in state of Michigan but I live in VA. We have no kids. How should I response for the divorce complain letter and can I file for a spousal support from VA? Thank you

We need more information. Where did you live together? How long were you married? What is the reason you think you might be entitled to spousal support? In what Michigan court was the case filed? You certainly cannot simply sit back and think you will be able to ask for spousal support in Virginia at some later time. You need advice from a Michigan attorney in the county the case is filed in, and that attorney needs to know all the facts. Good Luck.
