I was wanting to know if I could get some information on getting a divorce. My husband and I have been off and on since we got married back in 2011. I finally left him march 29 2013 because he was abusive. He is now in jail because he got caught distributing to minors. I've got two children, and I was wondering what all needs to be done since he is in jail. Do I have to have any special papers for it? Can I order the forms online? Does he have to sign the papers? Around how much everything will cost, and can I do a payment plan?

Being sentenced to the penitentiary is grounds for divorce in Mississippi. I recommend hiring an attorney. The cost and payment arrangement is something you and the attorney will agree upon.
