QUESTION

How to reacquire court documents

Asked on Apr 05th, 2016 on Child Custody - Ohio
More details to this question:
I am trying to enlist into the air force. I had lost all prior documentation about my child custody from a fire. I need the documentation stating that she has custody and the reasoning for the amount they take from my paychecks for child support. The child's mother is unreachable for me for over a year. The court case was filed in Richmond, Indiana. I live in Ohio.

Have you contacted the Court clerk's office for the Court that issued the original orders?  If not, contact them, give them the information you have, and ask how to request the records.  You are entitled to copies.   merrisnaugle.com
