My mother in law has told me that if I was to get a divorce from her son. That I would get the police called on me if I took my daughter back to AL with me. I just wanted to know if this was true, I've never been in trouble with the law before so I'm sacred.. But I don't want to be In this marriage any more!

It is not a simple question. You will have every opportunity to convince the Court that you should be permitted to move back to Alabama if that will be best for you. However, assuming he will oppose this move, he may win, too. It depends upon all of the circumstances, and you will need a good attorney to advise and counsel you. Good Luck.
