I don't know which box to check on my parenting plan papers.

More details to this question:
I was served with legal separation papers a month ago. I did send in my response to the summons. I am beginning to look at the proposed parenting plan and am confused which box to check as far as the child support as I don't want to check the wrong one. I want to make sure I am receiving the amount due to me for family support of three children. The boxes read: 1. As required by the state support guidelines (see divorce/paternity summons) 2. According to the attached proposal. I guess the parentheses in number one threw me off as I'm not sure what that is. None of my papers are titled with that. Thank you so much for any help you can give.
what county is the case pending in? many counties offer clinics to help people at the local county courthouse on family matters. Check in your county and take your pauses to have them reviewed by an attorney at the self help clinic. If you'd county does not offer that, you can try to have a free consult with a family lawyer in your area who may be able to help you complete your parenting plan.
