I have a 17 yr old daughter and she lives with her dad but want to live with me what should I do.

If she's graduating from high school in the spring of 2016, and if there is no emergency, such as child neglect or abuse, you may not have time enough to file a motion and litigate it to conclusion, given the caseload and scheduling of your particular court. At the age of 17, the question really comes down to how much of a battle to you want to undertake. In a few months, she'll be 18 and then able to choose where she wants to live.
