I have not received child support in my divorce, there was no order for it. I am wondering how I go about getting it now.

More details to this question:
At the time of my divorce I went for custody and put the child support in the back burner. My ex is to pay half the insurance, which he quit doing last year because he didn't like the price. I have the boys 53 percent and he has them 47 percent. He is to pay his percent for school fees and any activities they are in. There is no other financial obligation. I am an RN and he owns a multi million dollar farm. I had to quit my previous job due to his ex wife and a law suit she had against me that got dismissed. I know warm about 1000 take home a month compared to the 2600 previously. My ex makes substantially more than I do.
there is a presumption after 33 minutes months from the entry of the last support orders that there has been a significant and substantial change in circumstances. This is a presumption. If you are inside of the 33 months, the presumption wouldn't apply, but the legal test is you still need to show there has been a significant and substantial change in circumstances. That is fine by comparing the financial circumstances at the time of your divorce, to what they are now. I would encourage you to discuss your case with a family lawyer in advance to see what your chances might be, how long it might take, and what the cost might be to you.
