I want custody of my daughter back from her fathers mother

More details to this question:
I lost custody of my daughter around 2006 because I was young and on drugs. I got in a little trouble and his mother talked me into giving her custody and now she harasses me for money and put me on child support. I have another daughter living at home with me who is 4 and I am also a full time student. her grandmother is almost 60. How likely am I to be granted custody as I am her mother and have a good stable environment for her. I just want my family to be together and was wondering if it would be hard to regain custody after so long.
If you have straightened up your life you should try for custody. The ultimate question is "what is in the child's best interest." If the parent/s are able to provide a good home for their child that is generally in the child's best interest. Another good factor is that you have another child and she is doing well which shows that you are fit and proper. It would be wonderful to raise your children together which would be another factor. If you get custody back your mother will be entitled to visitation based on her being a "psychological parent."
