We did our own divorce. Just filed our papers. We agreed that we would do wills and leave everything we own to each other and if we are gone to be split between our children. Someone told me my c got married in June 2023. I text him and asked if he was married (cause I know his will to me is null and void). And if a baby was on the way. The next day he said I was funny. I text him that if he did get married we need to redo our wills. He text back absolutely. Well he was married and baby was born 10-27-23. He is 71. She is 33. I took a car and a bed when I left. He was on girlfriend number 8. We were married 42 years. He never gave me half of our property it alimony. I believed in him again. I know. Stupid. I talked to a divorce lawyer he said I could charge him with fraud. But it will be an up hill battle. I have text where he said we would address our wills. He stopped paying for my car insurance (he had 2 other women on the policy).
It certainly sounds like a messy situation. Rather than attempt to address your concerns here, I would be happy to discuss this situatuon with you during a no-cost telephone consultation.
