Is it legal for DCS worker to harass clients after hours?

I'm currently dealing with DCS and tonight at 10:30 pm, my caseworker showed up at my house to talk to my children. Not only was she very rude but threatened to take my kids because I allowed my 16 year old son to stay at his friend’s house. The kids aren't in any danger and they are not running the streets late at night. How is this legal for her to do and what can I do to stop her?

One visit late is not harassment. Did you allow your son to stay at a friend's one or two nights, or is it an indefinite stay? There is nothing here that can be dealt with legally, other than to complain to her supervisor.
