Is it possible to file for an annulment in another state?

More details to this question:
A couple married in Texas. One decided to go on a separate way but has moved to Kansas. Can that person file for annulment in Kansas to avoid going back to Texas? The marriage took place on September 30, 2011.

If the person has lived in Kansas for at least 6 months then you can file for divorce in Kansas.
