Is there a time frame on going after a parent for child support?
Asked on Apr 12th, 2013 on Child Support - California
More details to this question:
How long do you have to go after a parent for child support and if not does it go all the way back to the child's birth or just when child support is awarded?
Child support can be requested when the child is under 18 years (and has not passed high school). The support is not retroactive i.e. it starts from the date of the child support award.
