In there a case law regarding oral agreements for child support? I am paying my ex-wife's monthly rent instead of paying her directly. This was an oral agreement outside our court required agreement.

It is not a good idea to pay child support by an oral agreement. Child support payments need to be court ordered and paid according to the instructions on the order.
