QUESTION

Moving out at 17

Asked on May 22nd, 2013 on Family Law - Georgia
More details to this question:
My mom and I constantly don't get along and agree and we always fight. She also places a great deal of responsibility on me by making me watch my siblings and clean the entire house and typically I'm home with them all day almost everyday. And she's constantly gone on the weekends. I have 3 children under my care and I'm about to be a senior in highschool, I have a great deal of work to do before going to college. I will be turning 17 in August and I need to know if I'm able to move out and not be arrested for runaway. Living in this house is extremely detrimental to my health and I constantly feel like ending it all.

If your mom is leaving you all on weekends, then you might want to speak to DFACS about what is going on.
