My ex-fiance has a new girlfriend who has a criminal past of assault and DUI, can this affect child custody?

In 2009 she got a DUI while picking up her children and attempted to assault a state trooper. Two years later she got another DUI for controlled substance. She has been arrested for assaults disorderly conducts and harassment I don't feel she is a safe person for my children to be around. Can this be used to help determine custody?

Give the information to your attorney and he or she will no doubt try to use it. Bear in mind that many litigants in Family Court have D&A and mental health issues and it doesn't automatically mean they lose their children.
